Affirming Support for Kids & Youth
NeuroNest is dedicated to providing inclusive counselling and education services for young people. Neurodiversity-affirming care is practiced in a kind, safe, and accepting space where strengths and differences are celebrated. Our goal is not to change the person, but to adapt the systems around them and develop coping strategies that promote well-being and authenticity. Self-understanding, self-compassion, and sensory-based regulation are the priority.

Lyndsey Cox (she/her)
RCC, MC, BEd, BSc
My name is Lyndsey, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and BC Certified Teacher. I am thrilled to be offering in-person counselling services in Victoria's Westshore, in addition to virtual services in BC and overseas. I have worked in counselling and education for 15 years, initially as a middle school teacher, then as a school counsellor, and now in private practice.
I love working with kids and teens, either online or in person. We start where you are ready, and together, we explore whatever is on your mind, whether that’s stress from school, relationships, or just figuring out who you are. You set the pace, and I'm here to listen, support, and help you find tools that work for you.
I use an integrated approach that is person-centered and strengths-based. All techniques are adjusted to accommodate individual needs. I draw primarily from self-compassion, internal family systems, play therapy, and EMDR. My practice is culturally-sensitive, sensory-friendly, and supportive of all genders, sexualities, and romantic preferences.
